The "Human Resource Practitioner Licence (HRPL)" is an instrument through which the Institute confers on deserving HR professionals found worthy in knowledge and practice, the authority to practise the trade within a defined validity period according to the established codes and competence.
Licenced practitioners have a page in their portal where they are expected to keep a log of relevant experiences, professional development and job-related activities that could be captured as credit earning and submitted for the Administrator’s review, who in turn would accept, give the requisite credit and record the credit point. Earning the Licence is a key distinguishing factor in market differentiation and preference because it:
CIPM certified members with a minimum grade of Associate; HR practitioners, HR leaders and personnel having accountabilities for people management roles both in the Public sector, Private sector, NGOs, SMEs, organised private sector, etc.
The Licence has a 3-year validity period from its activation date, after which the holder will be required to renew. You are required to start the renewal process at least a month (30 days) to expiry date. You can renew your HRPL by earning credit points from different HR work activities, trainings, facilitations etc. which you engaged in within the validity period. Please note:
